Waking up to the beautiful jungles in Bali is dreamy, but these breakfasts seal the deal.
Step through the pink door at the Bali Boat Shed to find Neon Palms. Open for breakfast at 8am and serving tapas and tacos until late, this is a great stop to make to enjoy a bite to eat. We highly recommend trying their fresh squeezed dragon fruit juice and coconut water or their coconut love smoothie! For food, their banana pancakes with local berries, yoghurt, vanilla cream, and blueberry sherbet are delicious or if you’re in the mood for something more savory, try their corn and chive savory fritters with dragonfruit sour cream, house made tomato relish and tempeh bacon. This cafe is lively and has a great atmosphere if you’re looking for a fun place to stop by; beware, sometimes there is a bit of a wait for food due to its popularity so come early if you’re starving. (If you come later on in the day, the potato skins and the pork belly tacos are an absolute must!)

Welcome to Coffee Cartel — your new favorite boutique coffee shop hangout! Visitors rave about how wonderful the staff is (as well as how much they love their beautiful lattes and delicious coffee). Coffee Cartel provides exceptional customer service as well as gives back to local charities like Mission Pawsible that helps dogs around Bali and the Solemen Foundation that creates programs to help disadvantaged and homeless people of Bali. We always love businesses that give back. As far as food, try their Mirin Tuna — it comes with sashimi tuna, avocado, fried capers, dill, aioli, and poached eggs on sourdough. If we could eat that every day of the week, we absolutely would. If you’re in the mood for something sweet (and very pink!) try out their Vegan Soak Hotcakes which are served with candy floss, mixed berries, banana nice-cream, and pink strawberry-coco pour over custard. You’re going to feel like you’ve died and gone to heaven.

Shelter Cafe is another breakfast and brunch hotspot you must try. You’re in luck if you’re vegan — try their Las Vegan breakfast that is served with seasoned scrambled tofu, crunchy quinoa, sautéed spinach, roasted tomatoes, sauteed garlic mushrooms, roasted pumpkin, hashbrown, smashed avocado, beetroot hummus, tomato chutney, crunchy sourdough, and your choice of nut butter. You’re going to feel like you have a vegan feast fit for a queen or king! We personally are huge fans of their Eggs Benny or their Smashed Avocado served on crunchy sourdough with feta, dill, basil, balsamic reduction, and some cute flower garnishes. This is another busy spot in Seminyak, so stop by early.
The atmosphere at Shelter is relaxing and tropical with hanging plants and bamboo scattered around the restaurant. Guests highly praise Shelter Cafe’s quick and pleasant service and say that portion sizes are a definitely plus when you dine here. Shelter Cafe’s mission is to “serve delicious, affordable food that guests will want to return to week after week”. So far, so good! Keep up the great work, Shelter.

Sisterfields is “a favorite catch up spot for island in-crowds and traveling foodies,” the restaurant shares, “(we) serve an all-day contemporary brunch menu alongside quality coffee”. All day brunch? Sounds great to us. Look forward to wonderful dishes like Shakshuka Style Poached Eggs with grilled haloumi, eggplant, pistachio, green olive tapenade, and pita bread or try out the Salmon Benedict served with popped capers, shallot, dill, mustard cress, and sourdough. This is definitely a more upscale brunch and breakfast spot so if you’re trying to save a few bucks, maybe skip the trip. If you’re in the mood to enjoy fantastic atmosphere and exceptional service, you can expect to find this at Sisterfields. The ceilings are adorned with hanging plants and gray and white marbled counters. Sit with friends at comfy booths and in colorful woven chairs while you enjoy some fresh juice and your pear and maple crepes!

This is such a fun spot! Peloton Supershop shares, “A combination of a Plant Based Cafe & Bicycle Store allows us to share the fun & ease of a conscious lifestyle.” Stop by for delicious breakfast or lunch and check out a few of their bikes. Please note — this is a VEGAN restaurant. Plant-lovers rejoice. Even if you’re not vegan, we’d highly recommend stopping by. Now, if you’re not a big fan of ‘transitional’ vegan dishes (like burgers that are not made of real meat), breakfast is a great time to stop by because they have more fruit and veggie based dishes that don’t involve meat-substitute items (if you’re craving a roasted potato and chickpea Pattie, look no further!!)
Guests consistently share that they ate meal after meal at Peloton because they just couldn’t get enough of their delicious food. If you’re feeling avocado toast, their Avo Good Day is delicious and comes with your choice of bread (pick the Sourdough or the Farin’s Dark Rhye!) with smashed avocado, sprouts, aioli dukkah and Lemmon. We’re huge fans of this snack!
Even if you’re not vegan, try out their Marathon Breakfast served with scrambled tofu, garlic mushrooms, Mexican beans, break greens, tomato salsa, vegan sour cream, zucchini corn fritters, and sauerkraut with your choice of bread. It will keep you feeling full all morning long while you adventure to towering waterfalls or stroll the beach.
If you feel like stopping by for lunch, the Ms. Jackson marinated BBQ Jackfruit tacos with chipotle pepper tortillas, cabbage, avocado, tropical salsa, coriander, and cashew sour cream are to die for.

The worn concrete, dark wood tables, and antique photos provide nice, casual atmosphere when you stop by for breakfast. The shabby chic environment and moderately priced breakfast options make it a fun place to stop by if you’re out for the morning in Seminyak. Order the eggs Florentine to enjoy perfectly poached eggs, smoked salmon, baby spinach, and hollandaise or toasted chibatta with avocado, ricotta, mushroom, and mozzarella. It’s a light breakfast to enjoy before cruising around town for the day. We’ll be back, Corner House!

Worn brick walls, soft lighting, worn wood tables — a pleasant way to spend a quiet morning in Bali. Guests crown Pison Coffee with having some of the best coffee in Bali. It’s a comfortable and cozy space that has plenty of room for guests to sit and some amazing food to enjoy as well. Stop by for carefully crafted macchiatos and lattes, buttery croissants, pandas velvet cake, and brioche French Toast. You’ll leave full and so, so satisfied.

Another beautiful spot to grab breakfast. Bamboo, hanging plants, tropical vibes — need we say more. Surrounded by lush palm trees and wandering vines, enjoy organic island chai tea lattes, a breakfast feast of delicious Huevos Rancheros, beautifully decorated breakfast smoothie bowls, or a probiotic yogurt bowl.
This restaurant is an open concept and makes you feel right at home in the great outdoors (make sure to bring your mosquito repellent!). This is also a very popular spot for ceviche tacos in the afternoon. If you stop by for breakfast, definitely make a trip back to enjoy lunch.

The Ubudian Cafe is another yummy breakfast and brunch option. This is a much pricier brunch option than some of the others and the portion sizes are much smaller for those of you that are very hungry and don’t do well with peckish breakfasts (you’re eating breakfast at the Puri Garden Hotel… you can always expect resort dining to be more expensive). Stop by for some banana coconut bread for breakfast or some chia pudding. Please note — tax and service charges are not included on the menu.
