For the days that you’re on the road, make sure you’re protected with reliable helmet. These helmets are all classic, vintage style helmets that have a great look and will also keep you safe during your adventures.
I personally have a DMD helmet and I absolutely adore the company. I have been using DMD helmets since before they started marketing in the United States and I am so happy I found them. The company creates high quality helmets centered around style, comfort, and safety. I personally needed a very small women’s helmet and have been very happy with my choice. Their helmets bring 70’s style with added safety features to ensure that you’re protected while on the road. I’m so happy these Italian made helmets are making their way to the United States. Check out the Racer Helmet in White for a sleek design and vintage feel. If you’re looking for a simple, clean design try the SeventyFive in Matte Black. This helmet is very comfortable and has definitely protected my face while on the road — I am very happy.
Biltwell’s helmets are stylish and reliable. This full face helmet comes in lots of colors. For her, we like the Vintage White or the Agave Blue. Biltwell’s helmets are DOT and have a retro design that we love. These helmets also come in pretty small sizes so for you ladies out there looking for a tiny helmet, we’ve got you covered. We own one of the Biltwell Gringo helmets in Titanium and it’s lasted for years. Honestly, the more beat up it gets, the better it looks!
A front runner for helmets, Bell always comes up with simple, classic motorcycle helmet designs that we enjoy. This helmet is a great basic if you’re looking for something safe and basic. These retro style helmets have been around for decades; Bell came out with their first full face helmet in 1968 and people have been in love ever since. This helmet is a full face, but the peep hole is much larger than other options so you get the protection, but it’s got a wider view than the DMD or Bilwell helmets. People rave about the liner quality of this helmet. The genuine leather, removable/washable, anti-bacterial interior, padded chin strap, and contoured cheek pads are all nice features that make the helmet worth the money.
The original, classic look that we all know and love is back and better than ever. This helmet is the original Bell Moto 3 styling and comes with added safety features they didn’t have back in the 70s. The lightweight fiberglass will keep you protected and it comes with a suede liner. This helmet is a bit chunkier than the DMD SeventyFive that we talked about previously, but we love it. In my opinion, the chin portion sticks out a bit farther on the Bell Moto III than the DMD SeventyFive. It’s a super original look that we are happy to have back.
