Cilantro Lime White Rice
- 2 cups long-grain white rice can also use jasmine or basmati
- 4 cups water
- 2 tbsp butter
- juice from one lime
- 1/2 cup cilantro stems and leaves, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp flaky sea salt
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- Bring water to a boil, add rice, cover and reduce heat too low. Allow rice to simmer for about 20 minutes until it has steamed and completely cooked.
- Stir in butter, lime juice, cilantro, sea salt, and garlic powder. Serve immediately
